Women’s Self Defense

Class Description

Tina has over 35 years of martial arts experience and is a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a Krav Maga instructor. She trained with Master Bryan Mahoney of the Torrington Studio of Tae Kwon Do and Sensei Tom Bacha of Connecticut Krav Maga for years.  Tina developed the Women’s Self Defense class to empower women to “be their own hero”, build self-confidence and self-esteem within themselves and share her skillset in Martial Arts to enable women to survive a violent encounter. The students will learn how to effectively defend themselves against a violent attack by utilizing Krav Maga techniques.  This course is a physical fitness class and requires the student to be moderately fit as the student will be required to use their hands, feet, elbows, and knees to strike pads.
